بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

تَبَّتْ يَدَاۤ اَبِىْ لَهَبٍ وَّتَبَّؕ‏﴿1﴾‏

1.Tab bat yadaa abee Lahabinw-wa tabb

1.Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he!

مَاۤ اَغْنٰى عَنْهُ مَالُهٗ وَمَا كَسَبَؕ‏﴿2﴾‏

Mā ‘Aghná `Anhu Māluhu Wa Mā Kasaba
Ses troupeaux et sa fortune ne lui ont servi à rien.

سَيَصْلٰى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ ۖۚ‏﴿3﴾‏

3.Sayaşlá Nārāan Dhāta Lahabin

3.Il sera exposé à un feu ardent,

وَّامْرَاَ تُهٗ ؕ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ‌ۚ‏﴿4﴾‏

4.Wa Amra’atuhu Ĥammālata Al-Ĥaţabi

4.tandis que sa femme, portant du bois,

فِیْ جِيْدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّنْ مَّسَدٍ۠ ‏‏﴿5﴾‏

5.Fī Jīdihā Ĥablun Min Masadin

5.aura au cou une corde de fibres.
